Melissa Renã Hirsch

Melissa was born in Baltimore, MD on November 11, 1974. She graduated from Seton Keough High School. She was married to Paul Hirsch on December 31, 1995; they were married 27 years.

Melissa worked as a Sales Consultant for Victoria Secret and David’s Bridal for many years and was rockstar for both companies. She also worked at Justice for Girls as well, but I believe that may have been for the discount…she loved a discount. She made a lot of long lasting relationships and friends due to her amazing personality. She was a Christmas person to say the least. She loved everything about the holiday and would often plan for years to come. At one point she had 16 Christmas trees in the house, all decorated perfectly.

Melissa, first and foremost was a Mom. Her children, Caden (22), Ashlyn (20), Joshlyn (16) and Evelyn (12) were her world. Everything she did in life was in some way to try and make the children happy, healthy, educated people. She never used babysitters and every vacation they were there. She was also an amazing wife. After 27 years I can’t remember an argument of any true value. The perfect person with an infectious smile and personality. She is also leaving behind her mom, Teresa Barton, 2 sisters, Chrissie and Jessica Hampton, a multitude of friends, and of course little Lacie (10 months) - her newly adopted puppy.

The celebration of life will be held at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home on Thursday January 12, 2023 with visitation at 4pm to 8pm and the service being at 6pm. Her burial will be on January 13, 2023 at 9am at Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation at https://www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org/ in Melissa’s name. The family of Melissa Rena Hirsch wishes to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and support.
