The gang at Reid's  is thinking of all the good memories we shared with Louise.  Sweet, loving, caring.  You are much loved and much missed.  Our hearts go out to Matt and all your loved ones.  We will miss you.

I didn't meet "Mom" in person, but her kind presence is know to me by the impact she had on my mother, Marti. Louise, thank you for being so nice and welcoming to my mom. And thank you for raising such a wonderful son, Dan, who has made my mother's life so much better. Your were even thoughtful enough to send a gift to me, when we didn't even know each other. I know you will be missed greatly by everyone who knew you. I am thankful you are no longer in pain or discomfort and are full of peace. May God bless "Dad," Dan, and the rest of the Stokes family. My dear memaw, 
You were the kindest, sweetest, loving grandmother a granddaughter could ask for.  You never judged me and always was there with a hug and a smile. You are the reason Disney holds a special part of heart, the trips to Disney land, the endless movie nights with my cousins. I’m so blessed and thankful that you got to have 5 years with my beautiful Lilly Jane, and got to watch my twins be born and turn a year old. I am also so incredibly blessed that you gave me my wonderful father Shaun. He is so much like you, kind hearted, never judge-mental, and love his children and granddaughters so much. You will be gone, but NEVER forgotten. I will always cherish the memories you gave me. Until I see your beautiful smile again, fly with the angels memaw ❤️ I love you so much 

Mema- you have been the one that I run to when I have no clue what the next step is, and you have never steered me wrong. Always full of great advice and comfort, you’ve had a major part in who I have become today, and the great mother that I have become to my own daughter, Kiley. You’ve been there through the hardest times in my life, and I do not know what I would’ve done if you hadn’t been. I thank you for all the love that you’ve shown me and Kiley, and words cannot explain how much I am going to miss you. My heart hurts so much knowing that it’s going to be a while until I can have another one of your hugs- but I promise, I am going to make you proud in the meantime. I love you so much, Mema. I’ll see you again. 

Lou had been a part of my life since 1979. I married her son, Shaun, in 1985. Her love for me never faltered. She was the most giving person. She loved her family so very much. Her devotion to her dogs was never ending. My dearest memory will be how her face lit up when I returned to her for the last time. We held hands and she whispered, "I always wanted another daughter and I love you so much." I became a nurse because of her encouragement. I know that made her very proud. She was never an interfering mother-in-law. I always loved her so very much. Our lives won't be the same without her. I know she is with our Lord.

The thoughts and prayers of all your SRC family are with you right now.  You and Louise as members of our SRC family have always been highly regarded because of the compassion you have shown for needy and abused Schnauzers.  Never has there been a need when  you did not step up to offer your help.  Your commitment assured great placements for so many needy rescued  canines.  Zoey (SRC#2058) got a loving home with you and Louise because of the commitment you both made to the needs of our rescues.  Zoey receives amazing care.  Attached is a photo of Zoey so all may see what great care you take of her. Thank you -- we  will  forever remember all done by you and Louise.
