Kenneth George Meades, 94 of Apex, NC passed away 11-27-2024. He was born in London, England on May 23, 1930 to George and Ena Meades. He was married to Pauline Day Meades for 62 years. Ken worked for Potter Paint Company as a VP and Chemist. After retirement he had a program, Softer Sounds of Jazz on public radio for 25 years. He was a past president of Jaycees, Toastmasters and Rotary and was a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow. Kenneth had a passion for public speaking and Jazz. He also authored a book, "The Better Hole" He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline and his parents. Kenneth is survived by his three children Alan Meades (Carmen) Teressa Waszkowski (John) and Sandra Hartquist. Five Grandchildren and 2 great Grandchildren.
