Judith was born March 28, 1943 in Lexington, KY to the late JT and Ruth Mason Wheeler. She grew up in Oak Ridge Tennessee.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly McLaurin Hicks and her husband, Bill Hicks; and daughter Leslie McLaurin Holland of Burlington and her husband, Tyler Holland; grandchildren, Aubrey Hicks, Dylan Hicks, Ansley Holland and Mason Holland; Sister, Sandy Hunter Jones of Flat Rock, NC; former husband of 39 years, Doug McLaurin of Longs, SC.
Judith was loved by many for her contagious smile and kind nature. She was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Salvation Army in her honor.
The family will receive friends at a celebration of life service to be held 3-5 pm Saturday November 16 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 Saint Mary’s Street, Raleigh NC 27605.
