Jonathan was born June 28, 1982 to Barbara and Carl Day in Florence, SC. Before graduating from Rockbridge County High School, he earned the highest level of scouting, Eagle Scout, and was awarded the Knights of Columbus 'Young Man of the Year Award'. After Jonathan graduated in 2000, he went on to study International Business at the College of Charleston.
While in college, he studied in South America and developed a fluency in Spanish. He graduated in 2005 with a degree in International Business, and most recently started a position as a GCM Client Administrator with Wilmington Trust.
In 2010, Jonathan met Lisa, the love of his life, in Charlotte, NC. Jonathan and Lisa were married in 2015 at Sacred Heart Cathedral. In 2017, they welcomed their twin boys, Luke and Wyatt, who were the absolute light of his life. Luke and Wyatt brought the purest amount of joy and proudness to his heart.
Jonathan was a devout Hokie, Georgia Tech and Falcons fan, and a lover of language. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, golf, and reading American History. Jonathan will forever be remembered for his honest nature, loyalty, quick wit, sense of humor and kind heart.
Jonathan was predeceased by his father Carl Day. He is survived by his wife Lisa Day, sons Luke and Wyatt Day, mother Barbara Day, and brother Nicholaas Day (Kristen Day).
Services will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Cary, NC, on Tuesday, May 30th at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to March of Dimes.
