Arthur Randall Smith

Randy as most people called him, was born in Jacksonville, NC, on November 13, 1956. He was the son of Arthur Junior Smith and Hilda (Holland) Smith. Randy attended Kennedy High School in Barstow, CA and then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After his military service he went to school to become a crane operated and worked in California and Nevada. After he retired, he moved to North Carolina to be near his mother

Randy was proceeded in death by his father Arthur J. Smith, his sister Sandra Gail Smith, and his daughter Trica Smith.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Hilda Smith, sister Ricky Shattuck (Dave) all of the home, the love of his life Julie Smith, his sons Tim Romero (Jaimi), Shane Smith (Rita), and his daughter Sandi King (Mike), his 12 grandchildren: Brook, Eli, Olivia, Kodyn, SJ, Milo, Averi, Mark, Jasper, Doc, Norah, and Lawson all of Ridgecrest, CA and his beloved cat Kiki.

A private ceremony and interment of the ashes will be held in Barstow, CA at a later date.
