Dan was born on December 13, 1959, son of the late William D. Hagler and his mother Betty E. Hagler of Huntsville, AL.
Dan worked as a sales associate at Napa Auto Parts in Dallas, GA for ten years. He was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and proudly attended The Church at Liberty Square, Cartersville, GA. He and his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Linda Hagler, were huge fans of The University of Alabama. They also loved to travel together and each year visited Panama City Beach with their friends. Mr. Hagler loved helping others in need and never met a stranger. He is already missed by his friends and family, but will never be forgotten.
Dan is preceded in death by his father, William D. Hagler.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Morrow Hagler of Cartersville, GA; mother, Betty E. Hagler; brother, Wendell Dean Hagler of Huntsville AL; sisters, Cheryl Turney and Michele (Robbie) Robinson, all of Huntsville AL; sister-in-law, Donna (Greg) Nichols of Hanceville, AL; nephews, James Scalf and Jeremy Pinkard; niece, Bridgette Pinkard; great-nephew, Sebastian Pinkard; great-niece Dyme Pinkard; his beloved German Shepard, Nikita.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at one o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday the 8th of July, 2018 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family immediately after the service at Owen Funeral Home.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial donations may be made in Dan’s honor to the Etowah Valley Humane Society, 36 Ladds Mountain Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
