Mr. Cox was born April 24, 1962, in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of the late, Robert Harold and Billie E.L. (Gabehart) Cox, was an Interior contractor and was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving is his sister, Lynn Gunter of Acworth and four brothers, R. Kent Cox (Delores) of Conyers, Danny Cox (Beth) of Hampton, Doug Cox (Patsy) of Cartersville, Lonnie Cox (Christy) of Acworth and eight nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 20, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Sanders officiating.
Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Raines, Terry Gunter, Chase Gunter, Jerry Bragg and Tony Dills.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Watkins and Rex Terry.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
