Janice Rose Knox

Wednesday, April 28, 2021 God called his beloved daughter Janice Rose Knox to her eternal home. Jan was born on February 8, 1949 in Cartersville, GA to the late Johnny O Davis and Mary Elizabeth Davis.

She retired from Glad Manufacturing and later went to work for the Bartow County Bus System. Jan had a bigger than life personality. She loved everyone and everyone that knew her loved her. Jan always enjoyed cooking and having her family over for family meals. Family was everything to her and her house was always open for family and friends. She liked to travel, read, and go to the beach and the mountains. Jan loved spending time with family and friends and talking to Jesus.

Jan is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and a host of aunts, uncles and friends that all welcomed her home. She is survived by her sons, Chad (Vickie) Knox, Bryan (Christy) Knox; brothers, Sammy Davis, Johnny (Wanda) Davis, Bill (Jackie) Davis; sister, Sue (Otto) Sullins; grandchildren, Savanna, Asia, Dalton, Carson, Kirstin, Khloe, Jerry, Jessica, Jenifer; one niece; a host of nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Owen Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
