Mr. Huskins was born on November 20, 1937 in Cartersville, GA, son of the late John Huskins and Delia Brown Huskins.
He attended Peeple's Valley School. He was a life-long farmer and he retired from The Bartow County School System after forty-two dedicated years as a school bus driver. Mr. Huskins was of the methodist faith and a proud member of White United Methodist Church.
Mr. Huskins is preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Martha "Mot" Rutledge Huskins; brothers, Charlie, John and Oscar Huskins; sister, Mary Leachman.
Survivors include his daughter, Pam (Glen) Kimbrel; grandchildren, Joey (Christy) Deams, Jennifer (Blake) Weaver, Michelle (Jeff) Adcock, Michael Kimbrel; great-grandchildren, Tucker and Tate Deams, Bailey, Bryson and Brinley Weaver, Lance (Abby) Brown, Zachary Brown, Mallory and Paul Kimbrel; brothers, Joe'L (Lillie) Huskins, Bill (Marilyn) Huskins; sisters, Eloise Gilreath and Marvine Shore; a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday the 2nd Of May, 2023 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Dennis Huskins officiating. Interement will immediately follow in White Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Tucker Deams, Bryson Weaver, Eric Huskins, Jeremy Huskins, Mack King and Philip New.
Honorary pallbearers are Bailey Weaver, Brinley Weaver and Tate Deams.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o'clock in the evening until eight on Monday, the 1st of May, 2023 at Owen Funeral Home.
