Jackie is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ray Alan Manley.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Wayne Martin; daughters, Alethea Hall (Mark) and Jawayne Stewart (Clint); grandchildren, Justin Griner, Corey Hall, Megan Hall, Emily Hall, Berkli Hall, Easton Hall, Amber Stewart. Jackie is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
Jackie grew up in East Point, Georgia and graduated from Headland High School in 1963 and then attended Massey Business School. At the age of seventeen, she began working for Delta Airlines for twelve years. Jackie proudly served as the elementary school secretary for Greater Atlanta Christian School for fifteen years. She was a devout member of Cartersville Church of Christ. When Jackie was able, she enjoyed being involved in the community. She was involved in the Prison Correspondence Ministry at Habersham Church of Christ and also taught children's bible classes. Jackie never met a stranger and loved being social. Her greatest joy was spending quality time with her family and friends at the beach and in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Cartersville Church of Christ, 1319 Joe Frank Harris Pkwy SE, Cartersville, GA with Cory Barnette and Martin Davis officiating.
Friends and family are cordially invited to a visitation for two hours prior to the service time at Cartersville Church of Christ.
Internment will occur on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman, Georgia.
