Hoyt Eugene Cagle, 72, passed away at his residence on Wednesday July 26. He was the youngest son of Ellis and Floy Shinall Cagle. Hoyt served with the Army during Vietnam. He retired as a mechanic from Georgia DOT. After retirement Hoyt enjoyed a quiet, simple life.
Hoyt is preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Harold Cagle.
He is survived by his niece and her husband, Matthew and Heather Akins. A great niece, Josie Akins. Sister in law, Debra Cagle. Also several cousins.
The family would like to acknowledge Michelle, Heather and Faye for helping the family with Hoyt’s care.
Interment will be Wednesday August 2 at 1pm at the Georgia National Cemetery.
