Clara Mary Howard

Clara Mary Howard, age 80 of Fairmount, GA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 30, 2024. She was born in Cartersville, GA on September 24, 1943 to William Richard Reagan and Harriett Jane White Reagan.

Clara is preceded in death by her parents, William and Harriett Reagan, brothers, Dallas Reagan, Phillip Reagan, Lee Alfred Reagan, Ellis Reagan; sisters, Josephine Martin, Cathleen Perry, Lola Talent and Ethel Elrod. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Reverend Jerry “Ronnie” Howard; children, Dennis (Susan) Howard, Toby (Beth) Howard, Sabrina (Roland) Gandy; grandchildren, Alison (Eugene) Daugherty, Bruin Gandy, Jackson Gandy, Mallory Howard and her fiancé Dawson; Maggie Howard; great grandchildren, Michaela Daugherty, Jayden Daugherty, Kamron Howard; brother, Wentfred Reagan; sister-in-law, Gail Lanham; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Clara was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cartersville.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Padgett and Rev. Crawford Greeson officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery with Bruin Gandy, Jackson Gandy, Jayden Daugherty, Forrest Leachman, Dawson Grimes and Billy Martin serving as pallbearers Eugene Daugherty and Kamron Howard serving as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 2024 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral Home.
