Bobby Roberts

Mr. Bobby Roberts, age 77 of Cartersville, GA., passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015. Mr. Roberts was born January 9, 1938 to the late Harley Roberts and Essie Tumlin Roberts. He retired from Bartow County where he was a building inspector and he was devoted member of Atco Baptist Church. Mr. Roberts was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Outside of spending time with his family, he found great joy in being outdoors, either hunting or fishing.

Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mrs. Addie Carlene Roberts in March of this year.

Survivors include her two children, Ricky Roberts, wife, Deborah, of Taylorsville, and Carla Boss, husband, Malcom, of Cartersville; five grandchildren, Tyler Boss (Katie), Jody Boss, Janna Reynolds (Austin), Calli Cruz (Leonel), and Maci Roberts; five great grandchildren, Jace Reynolds, Addie Reynolds, Lexi Cruz, Cami Cruz, and Connor Cruz.

Funeral Services for Mr. Bobby Roberts will be conducted, Friday, November 27, 2015 at 11:00am in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Tyler Boss, Jody Boss, Tony Tidwell Tony Southern, Kenny Lowery, and Gary Bell.
