Angela is preceded in death by her sister, Jill Harris. She is survived by her husband, Brian Griffin, Angie’s parents, Jack and Joyce Galloway; Sister, Becky Nation; brother-in-law, Eric Harris; nieces, Courtney Harris, Whitney Harris, Olivia Nation, Lauren Griffin, Kelli Gasses (Art); nephews, Denver Harris, Stone Nation, Scott Griffin; great-nephew Haddon Harris, Griffin Gasses; mother-in-law, Barbara Griffin; brothers-in-law, Kerry Griffin (Kathy), Barry Griffin.
Angie was an avid reader as she was a librarian for 28 years. Most of those years were spent at Eastside Elementary in Rockmart Ga. She computerize the library and worked with media by making the library a fun and welcoming space. On every occasion she would dress in character she would be a bunny, cat n hat, Irish leprechaun, and so on. The Students and teachers loved her creativity and monthly themes decorations and activities.
Angie loved her family, always eager to get everyone together. She also loved animals especially her precious cats Butter and Sasha blue.
She was 16 years old when the Lord saved her and baptized at Gilmer Street Baptist Church.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 17, 2021 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Harris and Rev. Denver Harris officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Cartersville, GA with Gary Toney Jr., Kerry Griffin, Barry Griffin, Larry Gentry, Eric Harris and Bo Rush serving as pallbearers.
