She is survived by her parents, David and Barbara Odom; paternal aunts, Bonnie Odom; , Juneau AK, Cindy Odom Holbourn, Acworth, GA; maternal uncle; Mike (Karen) Rentel, Madison, WI; Paternal Cousins, Brandy (Matt) Mongeau, Tokyo, Japan, Brad Holbourn, Acworth, GA, Nephew, Felix Mongeau, Tokyo Japan; Extended Family, Odom & Harris Family, Thomaston GA, Huether Family, Rome, GA, Mobley Family, Cave Spring, GA, SantaMaria Family, Atlanta, GA and Many others.
Aimee was a junior at KSU majoring in UX Design, a graduate of Cartersville Schools. She was currently working at Tellus Science Museum, Cartersville, GA, and Bent Water Golf Club, Acworth, GA.
Some of Aimee’s accomplishment were the Cartersville Golf Team, Cartersville Basketball Team as Manager/Scorekeeper, Cartersville HS Track Team, Cartersville Year Book Committee, Bartow/Etowah High School Civil Air Patrol and Senate Page of the Day, Bruce Thompson.
People of any age were the very most important thing in Aimee’s life. She especially loved being in groups or gatherings of any size and also being part of the Cartersville community. People she knew were like family to her and she was a part of so many families.
Aimee enjoyed exploring new things. She loved to travel and learned to fly a plane before she could drive a car. Hot Worx in Cartersville, was one of her very favorite places to be, not just to work out, but the people who were there.
She loved being active and enjoyed golf, hiking, snow skiing, fishing and horseback riding.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, May 24, 2024 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Holt officiating. The interment will follow at Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Flowers (preferably Pink) may be sent to Owen Funeral Home in Cartersville, GA or in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Innocence Project, a very important cause to her. https://www.georgiainnocenseproject.org
