Barbara’s unwillingness to give in to her condition, despite the many obstacles she had to face, was typical of her strong beliefs and the strength she found in knowing the Lord.
Barbara had an adventurous spirit and a truly wonderful personality characterized by her witty sense of humor, which made her a pleasure to be around. She enjoyed traveling and experiencing new places, yet she was equally happy taking care of her home, husband and little puppy.
Barbara always thought of others more than herself, which demonstrated her gentle nature and giving spirit, being very generous, thoughtful, and kind to everyone she met.
Barbara was born in Spokane, Washington to Byron Wallace Olson and Patricia Jean McNeil on February 28, 1959 where she went to school and attended some college. She always enjoyed being physically active participating in gymnastics in school and continuing her healthy lifestyle afterwards by studying martial arts, running, hiking and going to the gym.
Barbara is survived by her husband Thomas, sister Brenda Keller and brother Lynn Olson.
