Roger Lee Jacobs

He was born in Dallas on August 24, 1932. Roger graduated from Crozier Tech.

He was married to Patsy Sue Jacobs on March 12, 1966.

Roger proudly served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1963. He retired in 2000 after 42 years with Dallas Airmotive.

He was a faithful member of Northside Baptist Church, Carrollton, TX.

Roger was a 52+ year member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a 52+ year member of the Scottish Rite where he achieved the rank of 33rd Degree. A member of the York Rite Chapter Council and Commandery, the Hella Shrine and Order of the Eastern Star. 2010 Grand Pursuivant for the Grand Lodge of Texas. He also held various offices with the Grand Lodge of Texas and multiple other Masonic Affiliations.

Roger was a passionate fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Sue Jacobs of Carrollton, TX; son, William R. Jacobs and wife Anita R. Jacobs of Alba, TX; granddaughters, Stephanie L. Barker of Lewisville, TX, Alyssa R. Denton of Fort Collins, CO and Elizabeth A. Rangel of Lake Dallas, TX; 4 great granddaughters, 2 great grandsons, sister, Peggy Currence of Frisco, TX; brothers, Harold Jacobs of Dallas, TX and Carl Jacobs of Dallas, TX, 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, Dock Jacobs, his mother, Mary Elizabeth Jacobs and his daughter Monica Lee Jacobs.

Visitation will be at Northside Baptist Church from 6:30-8:00pm on May 10th. Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m., May 11th at Northside Baptist Church 2000 N. Denton Drive Carrollton, TX 75006

Donations in lieu of flowers to Northside Baptist Church and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
