Robert "Bob" Diebold joined the army in 1958 and spent many years in Germany. He later moved to Dallas, Texas and retired from Otis Engineering Corp. It was there that he met Lu-Dell Sininger. They married on January 27, 1990.
He laughed at funny people and puns, loved the color blue, and enjoyed woodworking and crafting. He is most proud of the births of his seven children and many grandchildren, and he always lived for his family. He hopes that through his life he taught others that they may overcome all things with the power of Jesus and would like to be remembered as a man of faith in Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip Louis and Zenora Ethel Iverson Diebold; his brother, Philip Diebold; and two of his children, Mark Diebold and Thomas Diebold.
He is survived by his wife, Lu-Dell Sininger Diebold; sister, Delores Chojnacki; daughter, Angelika Stinson and husband, Richard; daughter, Marisa Flynn and husband, Adam; sons, Christian Diebold, Erik Diebold; and Michael Diebold and wife, Amber. He is also survived by grandchildren, Julia Whitaker, Courtney Diebold, Trinity Diebold, Savannah Diebold, Logan Diebold, Elijah Diebold, Jacob Diebold, Jordan Flynn, Alexis Flynn, Sophia Flynn, Andrew Flynn; and many family members in Wisconsin and Germany.
