Ofelia was born to the late Magno Magat Sr. and Lourdes Magat (Sibug), September 17, 1940 in the Philippines. She attended high school and college while living in the Philippines, she received a BS in Chemical Engineering. After graduating college she immigrated to the United States.
She had a well-established career with Xerox that spanned over 30 years.
In her spare time she enjoyed staying active. Her hobbies included traveling, jazzercising, walking fishing and much more. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Center and St. Catherine of Siena.
Ofelia is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Vogt Sr.; parents, Magno Magat Sr. and Lourdes Magat; siblings, Conrado Magat , Adeline Magat, Magno Magat Jr., Lourdes Magat, Enriquito Magat.
She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Touch (Vogt), Albert Vogt Jr., Mary Chris Vogt; sister, Angelita Magat and Ester Wilson (Magat); grandchildren, Angelo Vogt and Alexander Vogt; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1705 E Peters Colony Rd, Carrollton, TX 75007 at 11 am followed by a Memorial Reception at 12pm. Inurnment will follow at 1pm at Hilltop Memorial Park, 1810 N. Perry Rd. Carrollton, TX 75006.
