Nancy was a 34 year resident of Carrollton, Texas and lifelong resident of Dallas County. She went to Garland High School where she loved drama and music. Nancy’s favorite hobby was shopping, so much so she turned it into a 25-year long career ending as a Supervisor of Purchasing for HCA the largest healthcare provider in Texas. She loved to make at least 4 trips a year to First Monday Trade Days' in Canton, Texas. In her retirement she looked forward to her monthly Pokeno Parties and was looking forward to taking care of her newest granddaughter.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Ingram, mother, Ila Mae Ingram, sister, Carol McMellon, brother-n-law, Bruce Taft and brother-n-law, John Taft Jr.
She is survived by her Husband of 35 -years Rick Taft of Carrollton Texas, her three sons, David Allen Frederick of Farmers Branch Texas, Gary Frederick, and his wife, Holley Frederick of Fate Texas, and Steven Cury-Frederick and his husband, Elias Cury-Frederick of Carrollton Texas, and her granddaughters Kyla Mae Frederick and Samantha Jo Cury-Frederick. Her brother-in-law, Charlie Mc Mellon, Mother-in-law, Therese Taft, Sisters-in-law, Maureen and her husband, Timothy Moore, Diana and her wife, Carol Cutler Taft, Patricia and her husband, Kevin Donovan, and brother-in-law, James and his wife, Heather Taft. Nancy has many cousins, nephews, and great nieces and nephews in Texas and Massachusetts.
A memorial service for Nancy will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 1PM - 3PM at Metrocrest Funeral Home, 1810 N Perry Rd, Carrollton, TX 75006.
