Mark entered his heavenly home on March 9, 2018. His strong faith in God and devotion of family sustained him as he struggled to overcome health challenges over the past years. He will be remembered forever in our hearts as a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him. We will miss his quick wit, passion for life, competitive nature, spiritual guidance and generous spirit. He was an avid fisherman and loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers.
Mark was born in Dallas on July 18, 1960 to Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Jabin and is preceded in death by his father and sister Rita. Mark is survived by his mother, Mary Jabin Steinberg and wife Phyllis; children: Blakely, Calli and David; siblings: Teresa, DJ, Chris, Linda and Matt.
Mark grew up in Carrollton/Farmers Branch and attended Mary Immaculate and graduated from R.L. Turner High School. He played college football for University of North Texas and transferred to Texas Tech after injuries prevented him from pursuing an athletic career. After graduating from Texas Tech, he worked in multiple companies and states to develop his sales and marketing skills that allowed him to launch MarMak Designs, a successful direct-mail advertising business based in Carrollton, Texas.
Visitation with family will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and a remembrance service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Both services will be held at Rhoton Funeral Home located at 1511 S I-35 East; Carrollton, TX 75006.
Mark attended First Methodist Church in Coppell and was an avid supporter of many charities. His wish would be, for those who remember him fondly, to continue to pay it forward and continue a donation to the charity of your choice or the American Heart Association
