Linda Ward

Linda was born February 20, 1945 in Nashville, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Harold J. and Catherine W. Smith.

She was preceded in death by her two sons, Larry Michael Ottinger and Harold Bryan Ottinger.

Linda is survived by her husband Billy Gene Ward, two stepsons, David Alan Ward of Atlanta, GA., Daniel Lynn Ward of Lewisville, TX and step-daughter Sheri Jean Ward, one daughter-in-law, Cindy Ottinger and one grandson, Michael Bryan Ottinger, one step-grandson Daniel Brett Ward, one step-daughter-in-law Cherry Ward and five step granddaughters, April Renae Ward, Kassidy Ann Young, Ashley Ward, Lauren Ward and Hanna Ward; one sister, Barbara Stephens Comola of Carrollton, Tx and two brothers, Richard M. Stephens of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Ronald E. Stephens of Arlington, TX. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

She enjoyed art, crafts, family and spending time with friends in the Red Hat Society.

A visitation will be held for Linda on Monday December 19, 2022 from 4pm-8pm at Rhoton Funeral Home located at 1511 South I-35E Carrollton, Tx 75006. A funeral service start on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 11am at the funeral home with a burial at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery to follow.
