Age 91, passed away on February 16, 2012 in Frisco, TX. Daniel was born December 27, 1920 in Weatherford, TX to Daniel Mathis and Maude (Chastain) Beadle. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mildred Beadle of Frisco, TX; daughters, Sheila Myers of Williamsburg, VA and Kaye Griggs of San Antonio, TX; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Daniel graduated from the University of Maryland and then began his career with the United States Air Force in 1937, retiring as a Major 26 years later in 1965. During his time in the Air Force, he served as a navigator in WWII, stationed in England. After his retirement, Daniel worked in Civil Service from 1965 – 1991 at Kelly Air Force Base and he was also a member of the 32nd Mason’s for many years. Graveside services will take place on Monday, February 27th at 1:45 pm at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of your choice.
