Cynthia Louise Parker

Memorial services will be conducted at 5pm on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, TX with Reverend Craig Parker officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Cindy was born on May 16, 1960 in Dallas, TX. She was born to Joseph and Mary Spears. She graduated from Arlington High School.

Cindy was married to Michael “Chip” Parker on June 24, 1978. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother and friend who would do anything to comfort the ones she loved.

Cindy was a genuine southern care giver and mother to everyone she met. Her house was always open, and she loved it that way. It was in her nature to open up her home and treat everyone as kin. Cindy often showed her love through her delicious cooking. Not everyone could cook a meal like Cindy. Cindy’s favorite “job” was being a mom. She loved her daughters and granddaughter more than anything in the world. She married her high school sweetheart and was just as in love with him on the day she passed as the day they met. Her newest love was her granddaughter, Parker.

She is survived by her husband of thirty five years, Michael “Chip” Edward Parker; two daughters, Kelli Renea (Parker) Gerald and husband Robert Gerald of Dallas, TX, and Michelle Parker of Plano, TX; one granddaughter, Parker Rose Gerald.
