Norma Jean Airgood,
85, of Westfield, Indiana, formerly of Bradenton, Florida, departed this life Monday, September 2, 2019 in Carmel, Indiana. Jean was born August 18, 1934 in Dekalb County, Indiana to the late Edward O. and Viola Mae (Ordway) Hartranft.
She was a whiz with numbers and had worked in accounting most of her life. Jean worked for Ball Brass & Aluminum Foundry for 26 years as an accountant, retiring in 1999. She had lived in Bradenton, Florida for the past 20 years, and previously lived in Butler, Indiana until her retirement. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, and was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ.
Jean was preceded in death by her husbands, Leonard Keller and Chalmer William Airgood; siblings, Thelma, Erma, Fern, Charles and Irene.
She is survived by her children Debra (Keller) Schoenherr and Jeffrey Keller; grandchildren, Ryan White, Matthew White, Scott Schoenherr and Kate, Jack, Liz and Meg Keller and great-grandchildren, Riley, Avery and Madelynn Schoenherr. She is also survived by her sister, Ann Metzler, of Bradenton, Florida.
A graveside service for Jean will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Avenue East in Bradenton. Following cemetery services, a reception for Jean will be held at IMG Academy Golf Club 4350 El Conquistador Parkway, Bradenton.
