Mary Kody, 88, a compassionate mother, grandmother and animal lover died peacefully on March 29, 2025. Mary was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 8, 1936. She resided in Walled Lake, Michigan and Indianapolis, Indiana.
She is survived by her children. Ed (Carol)Kody, Ann (Roger)Bell, Mary (John)Delaney, John (Melissa)Kody, Michael (Laura)Kody, Robert Kody and her grandchildren Laura, Lisa, Kayla, James, Ryan, Adam, Meaghan, Austin, Patrick, Carsyn and Caleb and great-granddaughter Capri.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Kody, mother Anna Swaitlowski Balcerzak and father Joseph Balcerzak.
Private services will be held as Mary is laid to rest at Our Lady of Peace cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana. In lieu of flowers please say a prayer for Mary and spend time sharing your love with your family members, including a pet!
