Marcia Kay Coover, 73, of Carmel, passed away August 10, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born on April 20, 1950 in Barneveld, Wisconsin to the late Robert and Orlene (Hendrickson) Dimpfl. She was a graduate of Hollandale High School. Marcia spent most of her career as a Customer Service and Claims Manager at Rural Mutual in Wisconsin. She later enjoyed working as a teacher in the Tots program with Westfield Washington Schools where she loved preschool children.
Marcia was devoted to her family and friends and spent as much time enjoying them as she could. She was a devoted fan of the Wisconsin Badgers and enjoyed tailgating trips with friends before Badger football games. In her younger years, Marcia was a member of a bowling league with her friends. She was a lover of music, especially Elvis, The Righteous Brothers and Neil Diamond. She enjoyed traveling with Ed to many places such as Mexico, Hawaii, and an Alaskan Cruise. Hawaii was her favorite spot to visit. In her downtime, Marcia liked to work on puzzles and read. One of Marcia’s greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren which included putting together puzzles, trips to get ice cream, watching them play sports, going to school events, and always snuggling on the couch.
