16, a lifelong resident of Carmel departed this life on Thursday, November 21, 2024. He was born April 21, 2008, at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital to James Donald II & Susan Bealien (Rempala) Crocker.
Isaac was a kind and gentle soul who always brought a smile to the faces of those encountered. He loved all things yellow (especially the Simpsons and Minions) and was the Grand Champion of Bear Hugs- if you were ever caught in one, you’d definitely have a hard time leaving. Music always filled his soul as he loved to rock and tap his feet whenever he heard a tune. He especially loved to hear Papa sing and play his guitar. He was a wonderful teacher to his family. He taught his father what it means to be pure of heart and truly love unconditionally. He taught his mother about patience and to give selflessly. He taught James how to care and persevere in difficult situations. He taught Luke about helping and watching out for others. And he tried to teach Abby to be quiet and gentle, but it didn’t quite work so instead he taught her to be joyful and smile. He always wore fun socks so he could have fun conversations wherever he went. His vendetta against green plants led to his greatest accomplishments. He managed to destroy his mother’s Christmas cactus and knocked over the Christmas tree twice! He loved nothing more than loving others. His laughter made everyone’s day better and brighter. As his oldest brother, James, notes, “His laughter now fills the heavens!”
Isaac is survived by his devoted parents, Jamey & Susan; his loving siblings, James Donald III, Luke Thomas & Abigail Gertrude; grateful grandparents, Thomas & Linda Rempala and Jim & Deanna Crocker; loving aunts and uncles; Pat & Julie Crocker, Jeremy Crocker, Ellen Rempala and Mark & Elizabeth Rempala as well as several dear cousins, great aunts and uncles and host of friends at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Carmel Clay Schools, and Riley Children’s Hospital.
Visitation for Isaac will be from 4-7pm on Tuesday, November 26th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Additional visitation will begin at 10:00am on Wednesday, November 27th and conclude at 11:00am when the Mass of Christian Burial will begin. Interment follows at Carmel Cemetery.
