Arrangements in care of the Orsted Funeral Home (Carlyle)
When I am gone and my race is run –
The days of work and the times of fun;
Don’t mourn and worry for this must be –
The toil is ended now I’m free
I’ve lived and loved life at it’s best –
Now it’s time for me to rest.
Carry on with your jobs and duties galore
Until you are called to the Heavenly shore
Remember your God and His wonderous creation;
And be guided by Him and His revelation.
It is sad to be leaving my family and friends,
Bit, no one escapes , of life on earth – it’s the end;
So be cheerful and patient with each one and all
And carry on willingly – until it’s your call.
