Richard Henry Livingston

He was born to parents Ralph and Katherine Livingston, on July 23, 1941, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Richard graduated from Thomas Edison High School with a love for science.

He pursued a career in Computer Science and founded the application software development organization Applied Logic in 1973. Richard continued to build software applications for the financial industry through 4 decades of IT evolution. Upon retirement Richard settled down in Cape Coral with his beloved wife and faithful dog.

He married Bert, the love of his life, in 1962, who survives him. Richard is also survived by his daughters, son and son-in-laws, Karin and Patrick Doyle of Grand Island, NY, Joan and Philip McDonough of Hernando, MS and Richard John Livingston of Tampa, FL. Grandchildren: Jessica, Bridget and Sean Doyle, Philip and Terri McDonough, Addison McDonough and Ryan and Jon Livingston. Great Grandchild: Maeve McDonough. Many nieces, nephews and caring friends. Richard was preceded by parents Ralph and Katherine Livingston, and brothers William and Kenneth Livingston.

Once retiring to Cape Coral Richard and Bert found a loving church family with the Cape Coral First United Methodist Church. Richard enjoyed serving the church by managing the light & sound equipment during services and helping to facilitate the Celebrating Recovery Ministries.
