Judy was born on March 10, 1941 and adopted as an infant by Myrtle & Cecile Houchins. She grew up in the Chicago area & graduated from Thornton Township High School, Harvey, Illinois, in 1959. She always worked in the medical field throughout her life, retiring from Cape Coral Hospital, in Cape Coral, Florida. She spent her retirement with her beloved cats and enjoyed playing the organ, reading, crosswords, and working on her many crafts. She will be missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Schumacher and former husband, John C. Lander.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Rentas (Rafael). Grandchildren Laura Hodges (Benjamin), Christopher Roff (Felicia), & Cory Rentas. Great grandchildren, Ethan Hodges, Ian Hodges, & Calianna Roff.
