James Robert Curr, 84, of North Fort Myers, FL passed away on February 1, 2014. He was born on September 14, 1929 in the Bronx, New York to John and Rose Canivari Curr. Jim moved to Long Island, New York and worked for Con Ed 38 years until his retirement in 1987 when he and Joan moved to Cape Coral, Florida. Jim was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, North Fort Myers.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Joan, his so Ron (Lynne), daughter Diane (Tim). and Pat (Brian); grandchildren Jennifer, Chris, Timmy and Keith as well as 3 great grandchildren Jayden, Isabella, and Avery.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at St. Therese Catholic Church, with Military Honors by the U.S. Army.
