Gloria Lea Marie St. Onge

Gloria Lea Marie St. Onge was born in Salem, MA on December 25, 1950. As a child she lived in Lynn, MA. Gloria preceding parents were Lucien and Emerentienne (Mercy) Theriault. Gloria was the wife of Roy D. St.Onge. They were married on June 20, 1970. They lived in Lynn, MA until 2006. When they retired, they moved to North Fort Myers, in a gated community named Lake Fairways. She had been battling off and on non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancer since 1991. Unfortunately, she succumbed to the disease on November 2, 2023.

Gloria went to St. Jean's Catholic School through 8th grade when it closed. Gloria attended Lynn English High School for her remaining years of school. She graduated in 1969. She was in the Drum and Bugle Corp for about 4 years. She went on to become an executive secretary in different companies throughout her career. For the last few years she loved her part-time job and co-workers at Bealls Stores in Florida.

Gloria had many accomplishments. She performed in Marblehead Little Theatre, at Broadway Church, and Cultural Park Theatre. Gloria loved bowling, bingo, church community, cruises, being secretary of her bowling league in Florida, and her most important accomplishment was her family. She also enjoyed camping in New Hampshire with family and friends.

Gloria's family includes: Her son Matthew D. St,Onge and Life Partner Nikki of Wilmington, MA ., Her daughter Lea M. Curry and husband Dennis L. Curry of North Fort Myers, Florida.

Gloria had two brothers: George Theriault and wife Cathy of South Carolina, Marc Theriault and late wife Debbie and current wife Ellen of South Carolina. Gloria's only sister Priscilla Theriault preceded her in death. She also had a sister-in-law Judy St.Onge of Easton, MA and several other late sister and brother-in-laws. She also has several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, as well as, her grandsons David St. Onge and Marcos St.Onge, Shawn M. LaBranche and the late Peter T. LaBranche and great grandsons Neil and Mathieu St.Onge.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Gloria's church, The Chapel of Cypress Cove, November 18, 2023 at 3:30 pm, 10200 Cypress Cove Dr. Fort Myers FL 33908. Gloria will be buried with husband Roy D. St. Onge at The Sarasota National Veterans Cemetery on December 1, 2023 at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, Florida.
