As a teenager she moved to New York where she eventually married her husband, Walter Navas. Evelyn lived a full life in service to her family, her community and her Lord. She served in various church organizations in Blessed Sacrament of the Bronx, and St. Andrew's Church in Cape Coral. She was married for over 70 years to Walter Navas, her husband who pre-deceased her in November 2022.
She is survived by her three children: Walter Jr., Billy (Nancy) and Sasha, as well as grandsons, Carlos and Alejandro Navas.
A 10:30am mass will be held on Friday, May 16th at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33904.
