Dorothy Elaine Ross

She retired to Florida at age 60 and loved the sunshine, beach and great new friendships. She was an avid bridge player and loved to dance. When asked, she often replied that the key to her long life was “walking [her] cherished dog, Sam.” The joy of her life was her ever expanding family.

Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Janet Ross Duggan (Tom) of Chappaqua, NY and Gail Ross Abraham (Kurt) of Cape Coral FL; four grandchildren, Erin Duggan Kramer, Edward Duggan, Erik Abraham, and Kirstin Abraham Mojica and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Ross and her brother Richard Sprowls.

A memorial service will be held at Faith Presbyterian Church of Cape Coral on Thursday, Aug 16th at 11:30 with a reception to follow.
