Dolores Audrey Sage

She was an elementary school teacher at Newark Valley Elementary, Newark Valley, New York and Zavala Elementary, Austin, Texas until her retirement. Dolores and Dick moved to Cape Coral in 1986. Dolores was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Cape Coral. She was an avid collector of Carnival Glass and was the founder of the Iridescent Nation, a Carnival Glass Club for young collectors, in 2003.

She is survived by her sons, Richard (Barbara), Douglas (Linda) of Cape Coral, Robert (Sandy) of Austin, Texas; daughter Donna Sage-Nestra of Cape Coral; brothers Jim (June) of Upland, CA, Joe (Eileen) of Daytona Beach Shores, Fl; sisters, Joanne Ward of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Barbara Yazell of Upland, CA; sister in law Nancy (Mike) Wood of Sarasota, FL; brother in law Rodney Sage of Mount Tremper, New York. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Shayne (Michelle), Scott (Jay), David, Paul (Laura), Michael, Alicia, Simone (Garrett), Zak (Stacy), Kevin (Sue), Tracy, Paul (Debbie), and Luke. She was also a Great Grandma to 19; and Great Great Grandma to 9.

Dolores will be remembered first and foremost for her love and dedication to her family.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, July 13th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on July 14th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, with Entombment to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery, Pastor Ralph Williams, officiating .
