He was a loving and devoted husband to his surviving wife Fran, "the catch of his life". He is also survived by their children; Danielle (Phillip) Stublensky, Rachel (Kevin) Mahoney, Tina (Ryan) Pope, Michael Avila, Renee (Steve) Brandt and Kimberly Guzman. Their grandchildren and great grandchildren will miss his fun and loving spirit.
Bruce was a cherished brother and best friend to Don (Tracy) Chaput, Joan (Neil) McCarthy and Carl (Pauline) Chaput. He was a dear uncle to his nieces and nephews and a beloved nephew to Mardell Kuhn and Leonard Chaput. He also leaves behind loved cousins and countless friends from Pine Island and Wisconsin.
An avid outdoorsman and boater, he was an active member of the Silver Lake WI Sportsman Club and the Cape Coral Tarpon Hunters Club. Bruce loved to fish, however he seldom held a fishing rod. He preferred to ensure his family, friends and guests caught fish and had their best time ever. His always present, contagious smile, truly stretched from ear to ear.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Wilber and Betty Chaput and will come to rest at the place he cherished most.
