Tony Max Stringer

Mr. Stringer passed away at his home on December 26, 2016. He was born March 5, 1947, in Athens, TX to Frank Vinson and Virginia Dare Gregg Stringer.

Tony graduated from Bryan Adams High School in Dallas and North Texas State University. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Korea. Tony retired from Exxon Mobil after 35 years of service. He enjoyed working on the farm and playing on his tractors. He loved collecting model trains. Tony was a member of the Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston and a lifetime member of the NRA.

Mr. Stringer is preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Paul Daniel.

Tony is survived by his wife, Paula Daniel Stringer of Tomball; 2 sons: Daniel Gregg Stringer and David Paul Stringer, both of Cypress, TX; sister, Lynda Stringer Tomberlin and her husband, Bill, of Richardson, TX; mother-in-law, Sue Daniel of Canton; numerous nephews and other relatives.
