Services for Sharon Kay Haymaker, 75, of Canton, will be held 2 pm Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Eubank Funeral Home with Bro. Phil Knott officiating. Interment will be in Haven of Memories.
Kay passed away June 9, 2024 in Canton. She was born September 29, 1948 in Myrtle Springs to Naaman Myron and Lillian Mitchell Robinson. Growing up the daughter of a minister, Kay lived in several towns. She lived in Houston for many years and began her family there. She moved to Canton in 2001. Kay was a member of Tundra Baptist Church. She loved crossword puzzles, Sudoku puzzles, reading, coloring, cooking and singing hymns. Kay loved the Lord.
Kay is survived by her son, Darrell Riza; two daughters: Dana Posey and Kayla Haymaker; six grandchildren: Bailee, Grace, Madilynn, Reggie, Colton and Jacob; sister, Lillian Connie Thomas and niece, Sandy Robinson. She is preceded in death by her parents: Naaman and Lillian Robinson; brother, Naaman Paul Robinson; and sister, Marilyn Gay Mize.
