Services for Rev. Robert "Bob" Crenshaw, 95, of Canton are scheduled for 3 pm Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Chaplain Travis Tate and Bob Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Haven of Memories.
Rev. Crenshaw passed away on December 26, 2020 at his home. He was born September 6, 1925 in Ridgetop, Tennessee.
Bob was a man of many talents. He, at one time, was a member of the musical group "The Lightcrust Doughboys" playing guitar and singing. However, once he became a Christian, his life was centered on his relationship with his Savior. In 1976, he became an ordained minister.
Bob never met a stranger and loved people. Anyone who met him knew of his love for the Lord and his vast knowledge of the Bible.
Bob had many hobbies and was able to accomplish anything he set out to do. One of his friends said it best, "Bob knew how to do anything and did it!"
In 1971 he married the love of his life, Dawn, who remained faithful in caring for him completely. In addition to Dawn, he is survived by two daughters: Sharon McGee and her husband, Ben, of Temple, TX and Rose Mary Brantley Woodcock and her husband, Peter, of Hollywood, CA; three granddaughters: Melissa Zoll and her husband, Jason, Megen Gildon, and Kristen Rossner and her husband, Erik; two great-grandsons: Dylan and Kirk; three great-granddaughters: McKayla, Emma and Farrah; brother, Jerry McCain and his wife, Ida Mae; sister-in-law, Rachel Robinson and her husband, Bob; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Michelle Holmes.
The family wishes to thank At Home Health, Pathway Hospice and UT Southwestern Cancer Center for their excellent care.
Bob has now heard the words, "Good and Faithful Servant."
