Services for Ricky L. Ragle, 67, of Canton, are schedule for 10 am Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at First Baptist Church in Canton with Pastor Mike Roberson officiating under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home. Interment will be in Haven of Memories.
Mr. Ragle passed away Friday, February 5, 2021, in Fort Worth with his sons, Heath and Corley, at his side. Ricky was born October 13, 1953.
Ricky and Sue married in October of 1980. They moved to canton in 1986. Mr. Ragle was an active member of First Baptist Church in Canton where he loved going to Bible Study. Ricky started Canton Paint and Body and opened for business in 1991 with one employee. He worked hard to make this a successful business and he succeeded in doing this.
Ricky had a sense of humor that lit up any room. He loved fishing, going to sporting activities of his kids and grandkids, having his grandkids spend the night on "sleep overs with Pappy," and sharing time with family and friends at the lake house.
Mr. Ragle is preceded in death by his three brothers: Bob, Bill and Craig Ragle; two sisters: Sue Dorflinger and Darlene Busbee; and his parents Porter and Dorothy Ragle.
Ricky is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sue Ragle; and two sons and their wives: Heath and Ashley Ragle and Corley and Kara Ragle. He was affectionately known as "Pappy" to his six grandchildren: Easton, Everly, Kylee, Ella, Avery and Cade. Ricky is also survived by three brothers: Gordon and Laverne Ragle, Marshall and Vickie Ragle and Michael Ragle; three sisters: Elaine Hamilton, Linda Moon and Donna and Joe Dorflinger; and a sister-in-law, Tammy Ragle.
Pallbearers will be Lance Gary, Lance Jester, Nick Box, Jeffrey Curtis, Opie Jordan and Brandon Cluiss. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Friday and Chris Freeman.
Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home. If desired, donations may be made to the Missions Program at First Baptist Church of Canton. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, calls and texts during this time.
The family would love to hug all of you that show your love and prayers, but now is not the time. They will hold on dearly to your thoughts and prayers. Masks and social distances are required during the service.
