Rayford Allen Temple

Interment will be at Myrtle Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Temple passed away January 24, 2016, in Edgewood, TX.

He was born January 13, 1939, in Bee Bayou, LA to William B. and Gracie Rae Spurlock Temple.

Rayford grew up in Myrtle Springs where he attended school. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and swimming as a young boy. He was a farmer and was married to his loving wife for 56 years.

Rayford is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Scarlett Temple.

He is survived by his: wife, Flora Ruth Temple of Myrtle Springs, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Betty Ruth and Elic Killgo of Myrtle Springs, TX; daughter, Kittie Marie Hamlin of Myrtle Springs, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Georgie and Joaquin Gaytan of Wills Point, TX; seven grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; brother, Clyde Temple; brother, Carlon Temple and sister, Joyce Ellison.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 26, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
