Pedro Rivera, 42, of Ben Wheeler, Texas passed away peacefully in Tyler, Texas on January 2, 2025. He was born on September 9, 1982 in San Luis de La Paz, Mexico to J Guadalupe Rivera Garcia and Maria Luisa Nunez de Rivera.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Canton, Texas.
There will be a come and go visitation on Monday, January 6, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary held at 7:00 p.m. at Eubank Funeral Home.
Pedro’s family moved to East Texas in 1996. He enjoyed the country life. Pedro was big into sports; football and the Dallas Cowboys were a favorite to watch. Pedro enjoyed playing the bass guitar and a lover of music. Pedro was Catholic by faith and volunteered with the Manna food bank during his free time. Pedro loved his family, and his family dearly loved him. Pedro will be missed, but will live in the hearts and memories that his family holds dear.
Pedro is survived by his siblings: Cesar Rivera, Juan Rivera, Rosa Rivera and Gloria Rivera; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends.
Pedro is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Maria Rivera.
