Patricia Mae Schory

Mrs. Schory passed away November 17, 2024 in Tyler. She was born February 9, 1937 in Kokomo, Indiana to Charles and Esther Carl Bordner.

Pat grew up in Kokomo, IN where she graduated high school. She met and married Gene Schory in Kokomo, IN. After Gene graduated from Purdue University, they lived in several places during his career, including Kokomo, Indiana; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Denver, Colorado; and Merritt Island, Florida. They enjoyed their retirement in Las Vegas. After Gene passed away, she moved to Canton in 2011. In Canton she attended Lakeside Baptist Church where she was very active with the Esther Sunday School Class. Pat loved fishing. When everyone else was ready to quit fishing, she would say, "One more cast." Pat loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed playing table games with her family. She was an avid Bridge player and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. Pat had a servant's heart and loved serving others.

Pat is survived by her son, Matthew and Sharon Schory; daughter, Sherrie and Mike Parker; five grandchildren: Amy Graham, Shawn Schory, Brandi Parker, Brittany and Sean Schafer and Bryce and Erica Parker; eight great-grandchildren: Sean Michael Schafer, Crew Schafer, Tripp Parker, Sloan Parker, Dezirae Schory, Dylan Schory, Brooklyn Graham and Meadow Graham; one great-great-granddaughter, Shyloh Garrison; and a brother, Greg and Connie Bordner. Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Gene, and her parents, Charles and Esther Bordner.
