Linda Diane Sutton

Services for Linda Diane Sutton, 67, of Kaufman, are scheduled for 1 pm Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro. Steve Glosup officiating. Interment will be in Haven of Memories.

Mrs. Sutton passed away September 8, 2020 in Dallas. She was born November 5, 1952 in Dallas to Clone Pete and Frances Geraldine McCann McDonald.

Linda grew up in Dallas. She joined the US Army and obtained the rank of Sergeant. After leaving the Army, she went to Barber School. It was there she found the love of her life in 1977 and married Bobby Sutton after knowing him for only a week. They enjoyed 43 years of marriage.

Everyone who met Linda loved her. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed going on cruises, spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Sutton is preceded in death by her father, Clone McDonald; step-father, Miles Meador; mother, Geraldine Meador; and her father-in-law, Hollis Truman Sutton.

Linda is survived by her husband, Bobby Sutton; son, Courtny Sutton and Tori McMinn; daughter, Christy Sutton, all of Kaufman; beloved foster daughter, Brenda Fortner; two grandchildren: Madison Sutton and Avery Thornton; sister, Kim Meador and Amy Harris of Sherman; her beloved foster daughter, Brenda Fortner; and her precious baby dog, Max.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
