Ken Perkins

Services for Ken Perkins, 83, of Canton, will be held 2 pm Friday, November 12, 2021, at Lakeside Baptist Church in Canton with Bro. Gary Coleman and Dr. Mark Moore officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home. Interment will be at Haven of Memories.

Mr. Perkins passed away November 8, 2021 in Tyler. He was born March 28, 1938 in Alba, TX to Ardle and Una Chapman Perkins.

Ken was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and the El Sombrero Coffee Group. Mr. Perkins grew up in Alba and raised his family in Garland before moving to Canton. He loved First Monday Trade Days. Ken was a great friend, loving husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Perkins is preceded in death by his parents, Ardle and Una Perkins; son, Michael Perkins; sister, Polly Prather; and two brothers: R.A. "Bob" Perkins and Stanley Perkins.

Ken is survived by his wife of 62 years, Fran Perkins of Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Sharon Perkins of Canton; daughter-in-law, Carol Perkins of Forney; three grandchildren: Andrew and Angela Rodriguez, Cassidy and Holt Henderson, and Travis Perkins; three and a half great-grandchildren: Mila Rodriguez, Nico Rodriguez, Patrick Henderson and Bexley Henderson, who will be arriving in January; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Rodriquez, Travis Perkins, Johnny Perkins, Holt Henderson, Ed Looney and Eric Whitaker.

Visitation will be 6-8 Thursday at the funeral home.
