Johnny Mack Morgan, Sr.

A funeral service will be held for Johnny Mack Morgan, Sr., 85, of Grand Saline, TX at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Eubank Funeral Home, Bro. Billy Smith officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.

Johnny Mack passed away in Tyler, TX, July 21, 2021. He was born March 1, 1936 to Lon and Ella Morgan.

Johnny grew up in the Van Zandt County area and married the love of his life, Mary Lee Thompson, on July 15, 1954. They were married for 67 years and raised four children, Johnny Ray, Teresa, Mack and Danny. Johnny Mack, was affectionately known as "PaPa" to his 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was a rancher and enjoyed anything outdoors. He loved his animals, especially his dog, "Annie". Johnny Mack, will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his mom and dad, Ella and Lon Morgan, son-in-law, Donny Tunnell and granddaughter, Amanda Morgan.

Johnny Mack is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Mary Lee Thompson Morgan of Grand Saline; sons, Johnny Ray Morgan and wife Pam of Grand Saline; Mack Morgan of Grand Saline; Danny Morgan and wife Lee of Emory, TX; daughter Teresa Tunnell of Canton, TX; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Interment will be at Creagleville Cemetery, Van Zandt County, TX.
