Jimmy Edward Garrison

Services for Jimmy Edward Garrison, 79, of Ben Wheeler, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, July 16, 2017, at the Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton, with Bro. Mike Roberson officiating. Interment will be in Haven of Memories.

Mr. Garrison passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 in Tyler. He was born May 8, 1938, in Kiomatia, TX to Earlene Brock and Fred Garrison.

Jimmy was a Christian by faith. He grew up in Detroit, TX and served eight years in the US Army Reserves. He was an avid golfer until his health failed. When he was a young man, he enjoyed racing boats and won many trophies. Mr. Garrison retired from the US Postal Service.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 38 years, Martha Ann Garrison; sister, Joann Morris; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dogs: Sam and Skippy. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Honorary pallbearers are Jason Butler, Zack Butler, Holden Butler, Logan Butler, Brian Butler, Jess Butler and Wade Butler.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
