Jesse Ray Keene

Jesse passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022. He was born May 5, 1980, in Durant, Ok, to James Patrick Keene and Valera Jane Goold Donahoe. Jesse enjoyed spending time with his beloved dogs while listening to old time country music. He liked to stay in shape and to help other people improve their health by coaching CrossFit. He was described as a businessman who took time to enjoy life. Anytime he had the chance, he adored working on fast cars or “muscle cars” as some would say. He would tell his younger brothers to get in and “If you want to have some fun then hold on!”. When cars were not available, Jesse would spend fun summer days driving speed boats across the lake. Jesse was known for his contagious smile, being very polite, carefree, and his laugh that will always be remembered.

Jesse was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Valera Jane Goold Donahoe; grandfather, Cpt. John Eugene (Gene) Goold, OKCPD (retd); and grandparents, Lt. Col. Forrest M. Keene Jr., USAF (retd) and Donna Keene.

He is survived by his loving family: father, James P. Keene, RPLS; wife, Kelly Keene; step-sons: Tristan Sumner and Gavin Sumner; brothers: James Keene and wife Caitlin Keene, Justin Keene and wife Lyndee Keene, Matthew Sandell and wife Nicole Sandell; sisters, Brianna West and husband Andrew West, Sarah Ann Munoz and husband Chris Munoz; grandmother, Martha Goold; grandchildren, Eleanor Sumner and Enzo Sumner; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
